Kering Eyewear completed its acquisition of eyewear brand Lindberg at the end of September, in accordance with the terms announced in early July and following approval from antitrust authorities. The Danish label will be consolidated on Kering’s books from the fourth quarter of 2021.
In early July, Henrik Lindberg, founder and CEO, had announced the acquisition by Kering Eyewear. The Denmark-based label employs more than 750 people who handle all processes from design and manufacturing to direct sales to eyewear shops in more than 100 countries. Over the course of the company’s 35-year history, Lindberg has received 109 design awards in recognition of its wide range of eyewear in titanium, acetate, buffalo horn, wood and precious metals.
