The MIDO Eyewear Show 2025 is just around the corner and promises an enhanced experience for opticians and buyers with innovations to the exhibition layouts, digital tools and public areas to reflect the event’s focus on innovation and creativity.
Updates to the exhibition areas
Pavilion 1: The Fashion Square will be partially remodelled to improve its functionality while retaining its appeal. The Otticlub will become the ‘Vision Stage’, where workshops on digitalisation, innovation, sustainability and more will take place.

Pavilions 2 and 4: The iconic design area remains central, now with expanded stands, more exhibitors and new entrances. The space of the pavilions surprises with an installation dedicated to DaTE, which will take place in Riccione from 13 to 15 September 2025.
As in previous editions, Pavilion 3 will host the Lenses area, dedicated to the world of ophthalmic lenses, where international manufacturers will present their latest technological innovations for the well-being of the eyes.
Pavilion 6: A completely redesigned academy with 92 companies focussing on design and trends, as well as an expanded start-up area, which has grown from 16 to 25 exhibitors, are intended to show that younger people also believe in and invest in this challenging sector. This year’s structure will also be made of recycled and recyclable materials. In addition, a new square will be created that takes up the unmistakable style of the squares of typical Italian cities and is above all inspired by greenery.
Pavilions 5 and 7 will continue to host the ‘Fair East’, which will showcase large and small companies from the Asian world.
Improved digital MIDO tools
The MIDO app now simplifies event management by allowing exhibitors to scan visitors’ QR codes and retrieve the data via the app or website. Visitors can track stands, save favourites, make notes and contact exhibitors directly. The MIDO website, which has been optimised for inclusion, offers exclusive content and improved navigation for all users.
