Following the rapid escalation of the Omikron cases across the UK and in light of possible new restrictions in early 2022, the organisers of 100% Optical in London are pulling the ripcord and moving the show from January to next spring. New date: 23 to 25 April 2022.
This difficult decision was made after consultation with the official partner, the AOP, as well as the OSA, the ABDO and a number of exhibitors and stakeholders who support this move. The new date for 100% Optical is 23-25 April 2022 and the trade show will continue to be held at ExCeL London.

Adam Sampson, CEO of the Association of Optometrists said, “We fully support Media 10 in their decision to move 100% Optical 2022 and commend the speed with which the team has found a new date in April. As an official partner of the show, we look forward to being part of an event that brings the profession back together – but only at a time when it is safe for everyone to do so.”
100% Optical: Bookings remain
All visitor registrations, exhibitor stands, sponsor appointments and facilitated sessions will be automatically transferred to the new dates. Working with education partners at the AOP, he said, efforts will be made to accommodate CPD and education bookings as well, provided speakers are available for the new dates.

This show has received so much support over the last few months that we have a duty to hold it as soon as it is safe to do so and as early as possible in 2022.
