31 January 2023 – Over 1,000 exhibitors have registered for MIDO, starting in Milan on 4 February 2023, according to the organisers. The exhibiting companies come from all over the world and represented the entire supply chain of the eyewear industry. Germany, France, Austria, Spain, Denmark, the USA, the UK, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Turkey and even Mauritius are on the list.

For the first edition of the award in 2023, all exhibitors at the fair are eligible and can submit sunglasses, frames or cases for it.

10 November 2022 – The organisers of the UK’s biggest optical show, 100% Optical, have set out from the start to encourage independent eyewear designers and manufacturers. The three-day show, to be held at ExCeL London from 25-27 February 2023, will feature the largest ever range of products.
